Who's The iPhone 6S For?

How Is It Different From The iPhone 6 Plus?
If you've got the 6 Plus, or were thinking about buying it due to the price drop then here are the main differences between the two:
Weight: Coming in at 20 grams heavier than the 6 Plus, you won't be able to tell the difference - that's like a couple of sticks of gum.
Camera: The camera has increased from 8MP to 12MP, meaning your pictures will be clearer, and an upgrade from the 1.2MP front facing camera to 5MP with retina flash will make quite a difference in the quality of your selfies.
Video: Now shooting 4K video at 30 frames per second as opposed to 1080p with the iPhone 6 Plus.
Bluetooth: Receives a minor version upgrade from 4.0 to 4.2.
Chip: Upgraded from Apple A8 to Apple A9, giving speed and performance boosts.
Operating System: Switching from iOS 8 to iOS9.
Touch ID: Moving up to 2nd generation.
Touch Facilities: This is the major upgrade feature from previous versions of the iPhone. 3D touch works with three different types of presses: a quick tap, a regular touch, and a hard touch. These different touches will provide different functionalities on menus, apps and features on the iPhone.
The haptic feedback function which provides a quick vibration back to your finger lets you know what motion you've enabled and whether it's worked. Haptic feedback is like the rumble you feel in your Playstation controller and was experimented with by Blackberry back in 2009 (but the phone flopped).
If app developers pick up this new functionality and really embrace it, then it may be a whole new way for us to use our phones in a more intuitive and time-saving way.

Dimensions: The iPhone 6S Plus stays the same size as the iPhone 6 Plus, coming in at 158.2mm height by 77.9mm width by 7.3mm depth.
Screen: Screen size also remains the same at 5.5 inches (compared to the 4.7 inch iPhone 6S) with a 1920 x 1080 resolution, which works out to 401 pixels per inch.
Storage: The iPhone 6S Plus comes in three difference storage options - the 16GB, the 64GB and the 128GB. Don't forget you've got a multitude of cloud storage solution options these days including Apple's own iCloud. iCloud storage is available starting at $0.99 for 50GB of space and the data you store on it is available to access not only from your phone but from all your other devices too.
Colours: Apple have beefed up their colours category by adding a new one to the team. The iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus are now available in a Rose Gold colour, alongside the previously available Space Grey, Silver and Gold.

Power and Battery
The iPhone 6S Plus boasts an impressive battery life, with talk time lasting up to 24 hours on 3G. Internet use also sees significant longevity, with up to 12 hours on 3G, LTE, and Wi-Fi. The device can handle HD video playback for up to 14 hours.
Battery Life and Charging
In terms of audio playback, the iPhone 6S Plus can last for up to 80 hours. The standby time is also notable, with the device able to remain on standby for up to 16 days. The built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery can be charged via USB to a computer system or power adapter.
